How to use olivem 1000

Incorporate Olivem 1000 into the heated oil phase, it needs to be melted. In lotions and creams, it acts as a complete emulsifier and contributes to the thickness of your product. You can add a stabilizer like Xanthan gum (0,2%) for extra stability in your emulsion, but it is not necessary. Olivem 1000 is well known for its soaping effect.

Besides as an oil-in-water emulsifier in lotions and creams, you can also use Olivem 1000 to create cleansing balms. These are balms that self-emulsify on contact with water. I really love this kind of cleanser.

For storage, make sure to store it in a dry and cool place
